St. Jude Defibrillators and Pacemakers

Free Medical Device Case Review

In recent years, many medical companies have made certain changes to the way the medical equipment is distributed. Hospitals all across the company seek to avoid any recalls on the medical equipment they use, and you can be protected even if you have been the victim of a recalled pacemaker or defibrillator.

St. Jude recently had these items recalled, and the company is currently working to make sure that there are no defects in the equipment, but you'll still want to contact a lawyer if you have experience faulty pacemakers or defibrillators, although you may not know which attorneys or law firms to contact in order to handle your case. The recall has been issued due to defects in the wiring for the defibrillator and pacemaker, and since this error has been detected, many patients are attempting to monitor their health after using the devices; this defect could possibly cause complications in the future, which is why you need to get in touch with a lawyer as soon as possible.

Steigerwalt and Associates is a great place to take your legal concerns if you feel that you or a loved one have been injured or have experienced further health complications due to a defibrillator of pacemaker used at St. Jude's. You should make sure that you have proper documentation of your stay at the hospital, as well as documentation of how often you had to use the equipment, so that the attorneys at Steigerwalt and Associates can tell you the necessary steps to making sure your case is settled.

The team of attorneys that are trained to take care of this kind of case will sit down with you and figure out just what you need in order to feel comfortable with letting the firm handle your case. You can be sure that the attorneys are qualified by learning about former cases that the firm has handled, since it is easy to find a law firm that will handle your case, but in some cases, firms only want money and more business.

One of the things that you'll need to figure out is how severe the damage was that you experienced, because this will affect the angle that your attorney needs to address the case with. You'll also have to get information from St. Jude's regarding the equipment that was used, so that you can find out if the defective equipment is used in more than one St. Jude's branch.

You must take immediate action if you have been injured by these defective medical devices. If you hesitate, the statute of limitations in your state may end your case before it can even begin. This will help your attorney to determine just how dire your health situation is, and will give you an idea of how much you can expect to receive from your case. Contact us today.

My husband Jack died in the emergency rooom five months after receiving his pacemaker. He complained from day one about chest pains, arm pains, rippling in his abdomen area. He had a St Jude pacemaker Model No. 5816 Serial Number 1516795. I am convinced the pacemaker cause his death.

ATTN: JAN. So sorry to hear of your mother\'s passing. My mother is now experiencing problems with her St Jude Pacemaker Model #5356. They had her set to get it replaced and then backed out. She is at home now. We are watching her closely. She was passing out. What model did your mother have?
