When you or a loved one is in serious pain from arthritis or severe menstrual cramping, you want help and you want it quickly. At times like that, it's difficult to think straight and easier to just make rash decisions to end the misery. So when a physician suggests taking Pfizer's Celebrex at a remedy to the above mentioned health issues, you jump at the opportunity. After all, if your trusted family doctor recommends it, you know it's healthy and safe. Right?
That's where you could be wrong... dead wrong. Even well-meaning physicians are sometimes swayed by attractive advertising, whether in the form of high-end pamphlets, free samples of pills to distribute to patients, or the fast-talking sales pitch of a pharmaceutical sales person. Therefore, Celebrex might not be the safe haven you expect; it may actually be a defective drug.
Though a Pfizer-sponsored study claims that Celebrex is an effective product with minimal side effects, the National Cancer Institute found that there was an increased risk of heart attack and stroke in persons who took Celebrex for the prevention of colorectal problems. This finding caused many to step back from the medicine and reconsider their feelings about prescribing or taking it. However, Celebrex (also known as celecoxib), unlike rofecoxib, it's predecessor that was removed from the market in 2004, still remains within the population as a legal drug.
Because we're concerned that Celebrex is actually a life-threatening drug, our law office intends to file a claim against its maker, Pfizer. Similar claims against other drugs have been extremely effective in producing a safer medical environment for consumers. They've also brought media attention to side effects downplayed by drug manufacturers. However, in order to proceed, we need to hear from people who have been negatively affected by the drug known as Celebrex.
Therefore, if you or someone you know has taken or is taking Celebrex and is experiencing or has experienced terribly debilitating (or life-ending) side effects such as heart attack or stroke, please give us a call toll-free. Without your anecdotal evidence, we'll have no way to ensure that others are protected against Celebrex or similar drugs.
Even if you think that your side effects are insignificant, we want to hear your story. By working with us, you'll be ensuring that future generations will not be needlessly roped into purchasing and using drugs which can have devastating results such as Celebrex.

| I've taken Celebrex the past year. In June I started having memory loss and was put out of work for a couple of months but when I was to return to work I was was told I would be called if they needed me. I am back to normal now that I don't take Celebrex but unemployed. | |

| I have been taking celebrex because I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. But I have noticed that I get alot of chest pain, heart beats really fast, and I can't hear well anymore. I have also experienced numbness on my left side of my body | |

| For about four years I have taken Celebrex periodically and other NSAID's for back pain and arthritis. This year I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. My diagnosis was Atrial Fibrillation and extremely dangerously high blood pressure. | |

| I have taken all NSAIDs at one time or the other, for the last twenty years for an arthritic condition. I recently found out that all of a sudden my blood pressure is through the roof and my liver is majorly and permanently damaged. But... just imagine how much money the pharmaceutical company that manages to bring the next Tylenol to market will make... On the bodies and health of us test subjects. | |

| Celebrex is just as dangerous as Vioxx and Bextra, I think | |
